About Me
Being a Mum to a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder/ Sensory Processing Disorder and an ABA Therapist, i know first hand how frustrating, challenging and extremely rewarding it can be to meet their Communication, Educational and ever changing Sensory needs. Over time I have had lots of 'fun' coming up with new and engaging concepts in which to fufil these needs and have received useful tips and strategies from many professionals such as ABA Specialists, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Autism Specialists and of course the 'real' professionals.. other ASD Parents. It is with this info, experience and recognition of the need to share fun and engaging resources with other ASD Families, that the concept of Uniquely Awesome Kids ASD Resources was conceived.
